wash, i've built and sold 15 "rescue" pumps, and as long as they're not of the high psi variety, they are simple!
200psi or less

I'm a bit confused.

Do you want to use it as a pumpout or a sprayer or both? What PSI or specs?

Have also built something like this and its quite easy to do with off the shelf parts. You need a toolbox of sufficient size to mount your components, Electrical cord, switch, garden hose or quick connect fittings, and a pump. Shur flo or similar for lower pressures or pumpout. Pumptec if higher PSI. You will also need some small sections of hose and hose barbs to hook everything up. Does that make sense?

makes lotsa sense to me mike but those pumptec pumps have been very troublesome for me so i no longer use them. besides, for roughly the same $$$$, a much better choice would be hypro, provideing the application calls for higher psi!

i would never use a pumptec to build a pumpout, but thats just me

I would use a Shur Flo or similar for a pumpout.

Pumptec can be hit or miss. You can buy a complete kit though for high pressure that includes regulator and gauge. Those would be easy to mount in a toolbox as well. Hypro makes some nice pumps but aren't they pretty pricey these days? I suppose it depends on how much you planned on using the setup. If it were an every day use thing then yes, I would spend the extra money.

Cleancraft sells one, if you don't want to go to the trouble of making one.
