Bed Bugs
« on: December 29, 2011, 05:59:28 PM »
Hi to all,
My question is how to protect our selves and equipment so that we don't bring Bed Bugs home as well as to other customers homes . I am carpet cleaning mostly apartments. I no at times they have Bed Bugs. They do treat. But there is always the unknown.

If I fill the potential threat of bed bugs or fleas. I spray my pants legs and shoes with Microban X-580 same with equipment you can purchase from Jon Don. Its been around since before the major threat of Bed bugs resurfaced. When your finish vacuuming leave the vacuum running tilt it back and mist some of the X-580 into the vacuum it will suck it into all the cracks and crevise of the vacuum.

Spraying Micoban on your pants. Poison to you as well? In the vacuum it puts in in the air and you breath it. I guess a mask would work.
